Ask The Right Questions

Things aren’t as simple as we’d like for them to be, and as such a design feature for the website is it intent to get viewer to ask the “right” questions on the issues of aging.  Listed below is a sample of how this might be addressed in the area Medicare.
Medicare involves important choices.  How well each of us is served by this important part of the American retirement system is based on our ability to make the “right” choice.  Some of our Medicare choices can include supplements with product offerings from private insurance companies. These “add-on” insurance alternatives do have a legitimate place in the current Medicare system for some people.  One or more of these product options could be the “right” choice for you.
Experience tells us that we each should be asking the “right” questions when it comes to Medicare. We hope that you will be able to make better choices when you know and can ask the right questions of yourself and of the people who want to sell you a Medicare supplement product.
Here are just a few sample questions to consider in establishing the “right” Medicare program for your needs:
  • Does Medicare Part C represent a better alternative for me?
  • What should I consider as I look at Medicare Advantage plans in comparison to traditional Medicare?
  • Should I buy a Medicare Supplement (Medigap) policy and when?
  • How do I evaluate policies offered by insurance companies?
  • Should I sign-up for Medicare Part D?
  • How can I determine what coverage and which insurance company would be best for me?
