The KUMC Dykes Library will serve as the primary website resource organizer and as a lead component in our content management team. Assigned designated members of the library staff will work in collaboration with the website project lead, participating subject matter experts and the website content managing editor, to facilitate further development and refinement of the website content management process. The Dykes team will also contribute to the further development and refinement of our current deliverable, to insure consistency on the part of our initial content development efforts and its congruence with future content development and support.
Our expectation is that the assigned staff will compile and organize content in connection with the key subject areas of the website. The goal is to develop an agreed sequence and work plan for the content team to follow as it “works through” the key subject areas.
Work products to be developed by the content management team will reflect the content organization rubric that has been developed for the website. Our initial plan is to use resources provided by our website developer for the process of physically loading content to the website. However, we may elect to expand the Library’s scope of work to include content loading or encoding, per the option outlined in your draft proposal, at a later date.
While our intent is to establish a continuing long term relationship with the Library, the initial term of our arrangement will be Fall Semester, 2013 and Spring Semester 2014.
